With perfect complimentary styles and seamlessly weaving several music genres, Dave Crumpler and Mike Glass deliver crowd pleasing acoustic arrangements of time tested favorites. Dave has played countless acoustic venues from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach since 2002. Mike is the former lead flat picker, vocalist and founding member of the Americana string quartet The Delvers (disbanded in 2015). Dave and Mike have performed over 100 shows a year since 2014.

Employing their eclectic play list featuring classic rock, alt & modern rock, Americana, bluegrass, Irish pub songs, several Spanish language songs and select originals, they tailor the music to the crowd on hand.  Mike’s spot-on flat picking makes a perfect pairing for their arrangements. Dave’s acoustic style blends cross-picking, finger style, flat picking and rhythm techniques with influence early on from James Taylor and Neil Young.

Dave and Mike bring quality acoustic entertainment to your venue. They work hard to promote your venue, connect musically with your patrons, and have a good old time playing the acoustic music they love.

The reason for being is doing, and Mike and Dave do love to perform acoustic music!

Dave and Mike met over a decade ago as friends on the local music scene. From 2012 to 2013 Dave transitioned to the acoustic duo format with tenor sax player Mike Sykes. Sykes took a leave of absence with the birth of his son, and beginning 2014 Mike Glass expanded play from The Delvers, teaming up with Dave and playing to great crowd response.

Mike Glass graduated VCU with a degree in Music Education and retired from a career as a public school music teacher. As a retired  Accounting Controller for a local small business, Dave recognizes the value added and fiscal impact of offering live acoustic entertainment to your customers.
